This page is about our Mantranews WordPress theme. Mantranews is magazine style WordPress beautiful theme.  We are passionate to make best and keep simple as possible. If you have any idea to make it simpler let us know we are happy to change it. This theme has a lot of widgets features. On this page you can see the documentation with the table of contents.

WordPress Theme installation process is very easy. You can follow codex instruction or following steps.

• Login your WordPress website and go to appearance->theme
• Click on add new and type mantranews on search-box and hit enter
• Then, you will see mantranews newsportal WordPress theme there
• Now, click on install button and wait for a while and you will see activate button. Just click that activate button. Yeyyy, It’s activated 🙂 🙂

If you do not want to install recommended plugins then you can skip this step. But if you want to setup your website exactly like mantranews theme demo then you can install it, so that demo importer will work. To install recommended plugins, you can check following image.

Just click on Begin installing plugins from red area.

Importing a Starter Site for Mantranews WordPress theme is quite easy tasks. First you have to install & activate the mantranews theme and install recommended plugins. Then, please follow following steps:

• Go to appearance -> Starter Sites
• You can see many demos for Mantranews Theme
• Choose best suitable ready-made site demo and click on import button.
• Wait for sometime, it’ll take 2/4 minutes. But time might be vary due to server speed and other external stuffs.
• You can check following image to know about Starter Sites.

To setup static home page on Mantranews Theme please follow following steps:

• First create one page and choose page template “News Template” from page attribute and save it.
• It looks like as follows:

• Then, please go to Appearance ->Customize ->General Settings -> Homepage Settings and check A static page and select “Home Page” ( That we have previously created ) and click on publish. It looks like this:

• Then, Just drag and drop related widgets from appearance -> widgets into their related sidebar. Your homepage is ready 🙂

Site Identity:

Logo: This section allows you to change the logo of Mantranews WordPress theme.

Site Title: This option allows you to change site title.

Tagline: This option allows you to change the tagline of your website.

Display Site Title & Tagline: This option allows you to show/hide site title and tagline of your website.

Site Icons: Site Icons are what you see in browser tabs, bookmark bars, and within the WordPress mobile apps.

Colors:

Theme color: This option allows you to basic color ( primary color ) of a website.

Header Text Color: This option allows you to change text color of header.

Background Color: This option allows you to change the background color of a website.

Background Image:

This option allows you to change the background image of a website.

Website Layout:

Site Layout: This options allows you to change the layout of a website.

• Full Width Layout: This option will change the layout of a website to full width.
• Boxed Layout: This option will change the layout of a website to boxed.

Homepage Settings:

Your homepage displays: You can choose what’s displayed on the homepage of your site. It can be posts in reverse chronological order (classic blog), or a fixed/static page. To set a static homepage, you first need to create two Pages. One will become the homepage, and the other will be where your posts are displayed.

Homepage: You can choose your static home page from here.

Post page: You can choose your post page for your blog posts.

Top Header Section:

News Ticker Option: This option allows you to show/hide news ticker from the website.

Current Date Format Option: This option allows you to change the date format for top header section’s date.

Ticker Category: This option allows you to set news ticker category so that you news ticker will get posts from that selected category.

Number of ticker in post: This option allows you to change the number of posts on news ticker.

News ticker caption : This option allows you to change the caption for news ticker.

Show/hide top header: This option allows you to show/hide top header of the theme.

Current Date Option: This option allows you to show/hide current date section of the top header.

Social Icon Option: This option allows you to show/hide social icon from the top header.

Sticky Menu:

Menu Sticky: This option allows you to enable/disable sticky menu.

Header Icons:

Home Icon:  This option allows you to enable/disable home icon from the navigation bar.

Search Icon:  This option allows you to enable/disable search icon from the navigation bar.

Random Post Icon:  This option allows you to enable/disable random post icon from the navigation bar.

Home Icon Change Option:  This option allows you to change the home icon. You can pick any icon from here.

Search Icon Change Option:  This option allows you to change the search icon. You can pick any icon from here.

Random Post Icon Change Option:  This option allows you to change the random post icon. You can pick any icon from here.

Navigation Icon change option:  This option allows you to change the navigation icon for mobile/tablet view. You can pick any icon from here.

Archive Settings:

Available Sidebars: You can change the sidebar position from this option.

Archive Page Layout: This option will allows you to change the layout of archive page.

• Classic Layout: This layout option will show archive page like classic layout.
• Columns Layout: This options will change the layout of archive page.
• List Layout: This options will change to list layout for archive page.

Archive Block: This options will show/hide block on archive page.

Post Settings:

Available Sidebars: This option allows you to choose sidebar for your post single page.

Author Option: This option allows you show/hide author meta in single post.

Post View Counter Option: This option allows you to show/hide post view counter section in single post.

Social Sharing Icon on Single Post: This option allows you to show/hide social sharing icon in single post.

Featured Image: This option allows you to show/hide featured image on single post.

Related Articles Option: This option allows you to show/hide related article section in single post.

Section Title: This option allows you to change related article section title.

Types of Related Articles: This option allows you to change type of article on related article section by tag or category.

Page Settings:

Available Sidebars: This option allows you to change sidebar settings for single page.

Feature Images: This option allows you to show/hide feature image in single page.

Header Style:

Header layout style: This option allows you to choose header layout style for your website.

• Style1(Default Style): This is default header layout style.
• Style2(Ticker Below Menu): This header style will show news ticker below main menu.
• Style3(Center logo and banner adv.): This header style will show logo and banner adv. in center of the header part.

Upload image for parallax header: This option allows you to add parallax image for your header part.

Footer Settings:

Top Footer Widget Area: This option allows you to choose number of footer area in top footer area.

Middle Footer Widget Area: This option allows you to choose number of footer area in middle footer area.

Copyright info for footer: This option allows you to change the copyright part of the footer.

Upload parallax for footer: This option allows you to add parallax image for footer.

Parallax for which footer widget area?: This option allows you to choose footer widget area in which parallax image will be shown.

Choose Website Skin:

Default: This is default skin for mantranews WordPress Theme

Dark Skin: This skin option will show dark style of mantranews WordPress theme.

Title Style:

Title design styles: This option allows you to change the style of widget title. There are 3 types of style right now, they are Default, Line and Plane style.

View All Text: This option allows you to change view all text.

Image Settings:

Select Image Hover Option: This option allows you to change the hover option for image. It can be Default hover effect or no hover effect.

Breadcrumb:

Enable breadcrumb: This option allows you to enable/disable breadcrumb for your website.

Breadcrumb Layouts: This option allows you to change the layout ( design style ) of your breadcrumb. There are 2 types of breadcrumb style right now. They are default and layout 2.

Google Fonts:

Site title font. Default is “Poppins”: This option allows you to change font family for your site title.

Site description font. Default is “Poppins”:This option allows you to change the font family for your site description.

Primary menu font. Default is “Poppins”: This option allows you to change the font family of primary menu.

All Titles font. Default is “Poppins”: This option allows you to change all title font family for your whole website.

Content font and for others. Default is “Poppins”: This option allows you to change font family for your website content.

Header font size Options:

Site title font size. Default is 32px: This option allows you to change font size for your site title.

Site description font size. Default is 14px: This option allows you to change font size for your site description.

Primary navigation ( Default is 14px): This option allows you to change primary navigation font size.

Primary Sub navigation ( Default is 14px): This option allows you to change primary navigation sub menu font size.

Font sizes for titles:

Heading h1 tag. Default is 36px: This option allows you to change the font size of h1 tag for your whole website.

Heading h2 tag. Default is 30px: This option allows you to change the font size of h2 tag for your whole website.

Heading h3 tag. Default is 26px: This option allows you to change the font size of h3 tag for your whole website.

Heading h4 tag. Default is 20px: This option allows you to change the font size of h4 tag for your whole website.

Heading h5 tag. Default is 18px: This option allows you to change the font size of h5 tag for your whole website.

Heading h6 tag. Default is 16px: This option allows you to change the font size of h6 tag for your whole website.

Post Title. Default is 28px: This option allows you to change the font size of post title.

Page Title. Default is 28px: This option allows you to change the page title’s font size.

Widget Title. Default is 18px: This option allows you to change the font size of widget title.

Comment Title. Default is 22px: This option allows you to change the font size of comment title.

Footer font size options:

Footer widget Titles. Default is 18px: This option allows you to change widget title’s font size for footer widgets only.

Footer widget content font size. Default is 14px: This option allows you to change font size of widget content of footer section only.

Footer copyright text font size. Default is 13px: This option allows you to change font size of footer copyright text.

In this section you can choose color for your website.

Categories Color:

You can choose color for your post category.

Color Settings:

Body Color: This option allows you to change the color of your body typography.

Header Text Color[h1-h6]: This option allows you to change Header text color. Mean you can choose color for h1 to h6 heading tag.

Paragraph Color: This option allows you to change the color of a paragraph (p) tag.

Top Header BG Color: This option allows you to change the background color of header part.

Top Header Color: This option allows you to change the typography color of header text.

Menu Background Color: This option allows you to change the background color of primary menu section.

Menu Text Color: This option allows you to change the text color of primary menu.

Block Title Color: This option allows you to change the color of block title font.

Sidebar Font Color:This option allows you to change the font color of sidebar’s text.

Sidebar Link Color:This option allows you to change the link color of sidebar’s text.

Sidebar title background: This option allows you to change the background color of sidebar’s widget title.

Sidebar title color: This option allows you to change the title color of sidebar text.

Top footer section background color: This option allows you to change the color of top footer background.

Middle footer section background color: This option allows you to change the color of middle footer section’s background.

Bottom footer section background color: This option allows you to change the color of bottom footer section’s background.

Top footer widget background color: This option allows you to change the widget background color of top footer section.

Middle footer widget background color: This option allows you to change the widget background color of middle footer section.

Copywirte footer background color: This option allows you to change the background color of bottom footer ( copyright footer section ) section.

Lightbox Settings:

Show on single page Featured Image?: This option allows you to enable/disable lightbox on single page featured image.

Show on single content area image?: This option allows you to enable/disable lightbox option on single page content area image.

Reading Indicator Settings :

Show Reading Indicator?: This option allows you to show/hide reading indicator feature on your mantranews theme.

Show Reading Indicator?: You have 4 options to show reading indicator. You can show indicator on top, right, bottom or left section of your website.

Read more text: This option allows you to change the content of your readmore text.

More Stories Settings:

Show More Stories ? : This option allows you to show/hide more stories fly in popup on your website.

More stories text: This option allows you to change the label of more stories text.

More stories Post Category: This option allows you to change the post category for your more stories popup section.

Social Media Icons:

Facebook: This option allows you to change the facebook page/profile link.

Twiter: This option allows you to change the Twiter profile link.

Google Plus: This option allows you to change the google plus profile link.

Linkedin: This option allows you to change the linkedin profile link.

YouTube: This option allows you to change the youtube channel link.

Vimeo: This option allows you to change vimeo channel link.

Pinterest : This option allows you to change pinterest profile link.

Instagram : This option allows you to change instagram profile link.

Scroll To Top:

Scroll to top icon: This option allows you to change scroll to top icon.

Primary Menu:

This is primary menu of mantranews WordPress theme. This menu appear below header part of the website.

Top Header Menu:

This is header menu of Mantranews WordPress theme. This menu appear just above the header part of the website.

Footer Menu:

This is footer menu of Mantranews WordPress theme. This menu appear bottom footer section of the website.

Widget Areas:

There are 17 widget areas ( for Pro Theme ) on mantranews WordPress theme. They are as follows:

Sidebar: This is sidebar widget area.This will appear right part of your website.

Left Sidebar: This is left sidebar widget area. This widget area appear on left part of the website.

Header Ads: This widget area appear on header’s right part. You can put image banner widget as advertisement.

Homepage Slider Area: This is slider area for mantranews WordPress theme. This widget area only appear if you choose static home page.

Fullwidth Above Main Content: This widget area is full width section and appear just below slider area. To show this widget area you must setup proper homepage for mantranews WordPress Theme.

Homepage Main Content Area: This is not full width section. This widget area appear just below Fullwidth above main content area widget section. To show this widget area you must setup homepage properly.

Homepage Sidebar: This widget area appear on homepage right part of Homepage main content widget area. You must setup proper homepage to view content of this widget area.

Fullwidth Below Main Content: This widget area appear below homepage main content area. There is no sidebar for this widget area. But you have to setup proper homepage to show this widget area on your website.

Top footer 1st column: This widget area appear on top footer part. And there are max 4 column on top footer part. This is 1st column for that section.

Top footer 2nd column: This widget area appear on top footer part. And there are max 4 column on top footer part. This is 2nd column for that section.

Top footer 3rd column: This widget area appear on top footer part. And there are max 4 column on top footer part. This is 3rd column for that section.

Top footer 4th column: This widget area appear on top footer part. And there are max 4 column on top footer part. This is 4th column for that section.

404 Page Sidebar: This widget area appear on 404 page’s right part.

Middle footer 1st column: This widget area appear on middle footer part. And there are max 4 column on middle footer part. This is 1st column for that section.

Middle footer 2nd column: This widget area appear on middle footer part. And there are max 4 column on middle footer part. This is 2nd column for that section.

125×125 Advertisement: This widget show grid advertisement. There are following options on this widget.

• Title: Widget title for this widget
• Advertisement Image Link 1: Link for advertisement image.
• Advertisement Image 1: Image for 1st advertisement.
• There are other 4 options for advertisement images.

Banner Ads: This widgets show leaderboard/large banner image for advertisement. There are following options for this widget.

• Title: Widget tittle for this widget
• Ads. Site: Images size, large or leaderboard image size.
• Ads. Image: Banner Image for advertisement.
• Adv. URL: Link for banner image.
• Open in new tab: This option allows you to open link in new tab or reload on that tab.
• Rel Attribute for URL Link : Enable/disable Rel attribute for link.

Block Layout: This widgets will show posts in different styles. There are following options on this widget.

• Block Title: Block title for this widget. ( widget title).
• Category for Block Layout: This option allows you to change category for block layout widget.
• Category Parameter for Block Layout: This option allows you to change the different parameters of category. Example: Category In, Category And and Category Not In.
• Tags for Block Layout: This option allows you to filter block layout via tags.
• Tags parameter for Bock Layout: This option allows you to change the different parameters of tags. Example: Tags in, Tags and and Tags not in.
• No. Of Posts: This option allows you to limit number of posts on this widget.
• Hide Category: This option allows you to show/hide category on this widget.
• Layout Style: This option allows you to change the design style of Block Layout widget.

Block Post Lists: This widgets will show posts. There are following options on this widget.

• Block Title: This option allows you to change title of this widget.
• Category for Block Layout: This option allows you to change filter category for this widget.
• No. Of Posts: This option allows you to limit number of post on this widget.
• Show Category? : This option allows you to show/hide category on Block Post Lists.
• Show Description: This option allows you to show/hide excerpt ( description ) on Block Post Lists widget.
• Description Length in Words: This option allows you to change the excerpt ( description ) length for Block Post Lists widget.

Breaking News: This widget show breaking news. There are following options on this widget.

• Title: This option allows you to change the title of Breaking news widget.
• No of posts to show: This option allows you to change number of post to show on this widget.
• Show latest post or show from category: If you choose show latest post then this options allows you to show latest post from WordPress posts. But if you select show it from category then Breaking news widget will show posts from category.
• Select Category: This option allows you to change category filter for Breaking News Widget. But if you choose above show from category only this option will works.
• Show Random: This option allows you to enable/disable random posts.
• Slider Duration: This option allows you to change slider duration for this widget.

Call To Action: This widget will show call to action. There are following options on call to action widget.

• Title: This is widget title for call to action widget.
• Background Image: This option allows you to choose background image for call to action widget.
• Height in Px: This option allows you to add height of call to action widget.
• Enable Parallax: This option enable/disable background image as parallax.
• Description: This option allows you to add description for call to action widget.
• Button Text: This option allows you to add button text for call to action widget.
• Button URL: This option allows you to add link for the button on call to action widget.
• Text Align: This option allows you to change the text alignment of description of call to action widget.

Carousel Posts: This widget will show carousel posts. There are following options on this widget.

• Carousel Title: This is title for carousel widget.
• Category for slider: This option allows you to filter category for carousel slider.
• No. of slides: This option allows you to limit number of post on carousel.
• Carousel Autoplay Speed: This option allows you to set autoplay speed of carousel.
• Show Random: This option allows you to show random or regular post on carousel.
• Show post category: This option allows you to show/hide post category on carousel.
• Hide Dot: This option allows you to show/hide dot on carousel.

Column Block Posts: This widget show posts like columns. There are following options on this widget.

• Block Title: This option allows you to change block title.
• Category for Block Post: This option allows you to change category for column block posts.
• No. of posts: This option allows you to limit number of post on column block post.
• Show category?: This option allows you to show/hide category on column block post widget.

Currency Converter: This widget will show currency conversion rate for different currency. There are following option on this widget.

• Currency: This option allows you to choose currency for conversion.

• Length: This option allows you to change length of currency ( eg. short or medium ).

• Category for Featured posts: This option allows you to filter via category for featured post. That will be appear next to the slider.
• Category parameters for featured posts: This option allows you to change category parameter ( for filter purpose ) for featured posts.
• Tags for featured posts: This option allows you to change tags for featured post. This will help you to filter post via tags.
• Tags parameters for featured posts: This option allows you to change tag parameter ( for filter purpose) for featured posts.
• Hide Category?: This option allows you to show/hide category on this widget.
• Hide Author?: This option allows you to show/hide author for this slider.
• Hide Comment?: This option allows you to show/hide comment on this widget.
• Hide Post Time?: This option allows you to show/hide post time on this widget.
• Layout: This option allows you to change the layout of this widget.

Grid Block Posts: This widget will show grid block style posts. There are following options on grid block posts widget.

• Block Title: This option allows you to change the block title for Grid Blocks Posts.

Mantranews Google Map : This widget show google map on sidebar. There are following option for this widgets.

• Title: This option allows you to change the title of the widget.
• Address: This option allows you to change map location.
• Enable True scroll: This option allows you to enable/disable scroll on google map.
• Zoom: This option allows you to change the zoom level of google map.
• Disable Controls: This option allows you enable/disable controls for google maps.
• Google API Key: This option allows you to add google api key to work google map properly.

Mantranews Weather: This widget show weather for specific location. There are following options for this widget.

• Title: This option allows you to change the title of this widget.
• ID: This option allows you to change the ID of this widget.
• City: This option allows you to change the city for weather.
• Country: This option allows you to change the country for weather.
• Forecast Days: This option allows you to update forecast days. That means total number of day’s weather to show.

Posts Lists: This widget show post lists. There are following option for this widget.

• Widget Title: This option allows you to change the title of this widget.
• No. of posts: This option allows you to limit number of post on this widget.
• Post Type: This option allows you choose either show regular posts or random post.
• Show Description: This option allows you to show/hide description ( excerpt ) for posts on this widget.
• Description Length in Words: This option allows you to limit description ( excerpt ) length for posts.

Random News: This widget show random news on website. There are following option on this widget.

• Title: This option allows you to change the title of this widget.
• Number of posts to display: This option allows you to change number of posts to display on this random news widget.
• Excerpt Length: This option allows you to change excerpt length for this widget.
• Show Post Description: This option allows you to show/hide description (excerpt) on this widget.

Tab Widget: This widget will show tabs on your website. There are following options on this widget.

• Number of posts to display: This option allows you to change number of posts to display on tab widget.
• Show popular posts by view count: This option allows you to show/hide popular posts by view count.

Youtube Playlists: This widget will show youtube playlists. There are following options for this widget.

• Title: This option allows you to change the title of this widget.
• Google API Key: This option allows you to add google api key to display youtube playlists on your webssite.
• Youtube Playlist ID: This option allows you to change/add youtube playlist ID to confirm that which playlist should be visible on website.
• Show Max Videos: This option allows you to change number of max video on playlist.
• Layout: This option allows you to change the layout of the playlist on your website.

Adding a theme license to mantranews pro is quite easy. First, you can find your license key from https://mantrabrain.com/profile/ and you will see your license details as like follows:

Copy this license key and paste it to your website ( where mantranews pro theme installed and activated already) from Appearance->Theme License and paste there and save first and activate. 🙂
