This page is about our MagazineNP WordPress theme. MagazineNP is magazine style WordPress beautiful theme. We are passionate to make best and keep simple as possible. If you have any idea to make it simpler let us know we are happy to change it. This theme has a lot of widgets features. On this page you can see the documentation with the table of contents.
WordPress Theme installation process is very easy. You can follow codex instruction or following steps.
MagazineNP theme have prebuild starter sites templates. You can simply import those templates easily with one click. You can install mantrabrain-starter-sites plugin from wordpress.org and go to appearance -> starter sites.
Just activate the theme and click on get started button ( This will install mantrabrain-starter-sites plugin automatically)
Then, you can see Starter sites menu under appearance main menu.
You can select best demo ( starter sites ) from here and can import just clicking on import button from the template lists. It may take some time to import your site. So please wait for sometime.
Setup Magazine style home page on MagazineNP WordPress theme is quite easy. You just need to navigate Appearance->Customizer->Homepage Setting and enable Theme Style Homepage. Now, you just need to add widgets from widget section of your site.
To setup global setting (that will implement on whole website). You can navigate from appearance->customizer->Theme Options->Base(Global).
You can change the site layouts from this options.
You can change the layout of your site’s sidebar. Example: Setup right sidebar, left sidebar or full width or no sidebar.
You can change layout style of your site. There are two options full width or box width.
If you choose full width your site will looks full width. If you love box style site, you can choose box width.
You can enable/disable breadcrumb from this option. If you are using pro version , you will get advanced option for breadcrumb.
You can change date format of your site from here. There are two options, Default WordPress Style and Theme style date
You can change the layout of your title. Example: Widget Title, Section Title. There are 4 layout available right now.
If you want to change the color of post category, you can change it from here. But you need to change one by one for each category.
You can change your social profile links and layouts from here.
You can change your sitdebar settings from here.
If you enable this option your sidebar will sticky. If you love sticky sidebar you can enable this option from here.
Show Hide Date: This option allows you to show/hide date on top bar of the theme.
Social/Hide Social Profile: This option allows you to show/hide social profile on top bar.
Background Image: This option allows you to change the background image of mid bar.
Advertisement Image: This option allows you to add advertisement image on mid bar.
Advertisement Image URL: This option allows you to add link on advertisement image of mid bar.
Mid Bar Layout[Pro]: This option allows you to change the layout of mid bar. There are two types of layout on the mid bar.
Show Home Icon: This option allows you to show/hide home icon of main header.
Show Search Icon: This option allows you to show/hide search icon of main header.
Enable/Disable Sticky: This option allows you to enable/disable sticky menu
Popular Tags Heading: This option allows you to change the heading of popular tag section.
Display Option: This option allows you to change the display option of popular tag section. You can either display on homepage only or homepage & blog page or on all the pages.
News Ticker Heading: You can change the news ticker heading ( title ) of your website.
There are two options on news ticker, they are show from latest posts and show from specific category . If you check the show from latest button, ticker content will display from latest posts and if you check the show from category, category selection option will be appear, and you can choose specific category for news ticker section.
Display Option: This option allows you to change the display option of popular tag section. You can either display on homepage only or homepage & blog page or on all the pages.
From this option you can order whole header part of magazineNP theme. You can reorder and enable/disable header parts. Default Ordering is as follows:
Top Bar
Mid Bar
Main Header
Popular Tags
News Ticker
You can enable/disable header item by clicking on eye icon of the ordering item.
Header media is WordPress default feature to show image on header of the site. You can change the image or add new image for header as follows.
You can change the featured sections from here. You do not need to add widgets to show content on feature section. Here is the screenshot of the feature section.
From this section you can change, enable/disable the banner section of MagazineNP WordPress Theme.
Show Banner Section: This option enable/disable banner section of MagazineNP theme. By default banner section is disabled. You can enable by toggling this button.
Display Option: This option allows you to change the display option of popular tag section. You can either display on homepage only or homepage & blog page or on all the pages.
Banner Ordering: You can reorder banner section parts. They are Post Column 1, Slider, Post Column 2.
Slider Options:
From this option you can change the setting of the slider.
Slider Heading: This option allows you to add/update heading of the slider.
You can show post from latest posts or from specific category for slider section.
Show Category: This option allows you to show/hide category of slider section.
Show Post Meta: This option allows you to show/hide post meta ( author, date, comment count) of slider section.
Post Column 1:
You can change the settings of post column 1 from here.
You can show latest posts or posts from specific category for post column 1.
Show Category: This option allows you to show/hide category of post column 1 section.
Show Post Meta: This option allows you to show/hide post meta ( author, date, comment count) of post column 1 section.
Post Column 2:
You can change the settings of post column 2 from here.
You can show latest posts or posts from specific category for post column 2.
Show Category: This option allows you to show/hide category of post column 2 section.
Show Post Meta: This option allows you to show/hide post meta ( author, date, comment count) of post column 2 section.
From this section you can change, enable/disable the post block section of MagazineNP WordPress Theme.
Show Post Block Section: This option enable/disable post block section of MagazineNP theme. By default post block section is disabled. You can enable by toggling this button.
Display Option: This option allows you to change the display option of post block section. You can either display on homepage only or homepage & blog page.
Post Block Heading: This option allows you to add/update heading of the post block .
You can show latest posts or posts from specific category for post block section.
Show Category: This option allows you to show/hide category of post block section.
Show Post Meta: This option allows you to show/hide post meta ( author, date, comment count) of post block section.
You can change the settings for blog/archive page from here.
Show Category: This option allows you to show/hide category on blog or archive page.
Show Post Meta: This option allows you to show/hide post meta on blog or archive page.
Show Excerpt: This option allows you to show/hide excerpt on blog or archive page.
Content Ordering: This option is available for ordering and can show/hide content of single page.
Show/Hide Related Posts: You can enable/disable related posts section on single post.
Related Posts Heading: You can change the heading of the single post’s related post section.
You can show related posts by following filter:
i. show automatic posts: Show auto posts on single posts related posts.
ii. Show Latest Posts: Show latest posts on related post section .
iii. Show Post from category: You can show posts from specific category on related posts.
Show Feature Image: You can enable/disable feature image on single page.
Background Image: You can change the background image of footer from this section.
Show/Hide Social Profile: You can show/hide social profile on footer from here.
